Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Systems Engineers for a contract opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
4–6 years of experience in Linux administration, scripting (Python), and infrastructure support
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with OpenShift and IBM Cloud Pak for Data platform
Proficiency in containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and orchestration
Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana
Familiarity with backup/restore procedures and performance optimization
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support IBM Cloud Pak for Data platform on OpenShift
Automate tasks and manage infrastructure using Ansible
Administer and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters using CLI and web console
Manage container images and application deployments
Collaborate with development teams and support Agile/DevOps practices
Monitor system health and performance using industry-standard tools
Support backup, restore, and scalability of OpenShift environments
Ensure security best practices and compliance

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift RMT

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
