Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inspector for a contract opportunity in College Park, GA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
FAA Repairman Certificate or A&P License required
Knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to a Repair Station
Experience with MS Office applications and basic computer skills
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, and pneumatic tools
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and read complex drawings
Ability to read and understand vendor specification manuals, CMMs, EAs, EOs, VAs, SBs, and other applicable documentation
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform preliminary, in-process, and final inspections of aviation articles
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and customer expectations
Verify technical data is current and inspection devices are calibrated
Review component paperwork for completeness and accuracy
Ensure defective or unserviceable parts are not installed
Document reworks and repairs per FAA and company directives
Tag and identify all components properly
Assist with calibration program and technical document management
Complete daily job assignment paperwork

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
5/40 work schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
