Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Technician candidates for a contract opportunity in College Park, GA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Basic knowledge of aviation maintenance Ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, pressure gauges) Ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals and technical documentation Understanding of corrosion control methods Basic computer skills (Word & Excel) Ability to read, write, and understand English fluently Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds Comfortable with physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose, replace, repair, and rebuild a variety of equipment and systems Use diagnostic equipment and tools specific to the trade Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Apply electrical and electronics theory Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental practices Assist with research and development of new repair capabilities Maintain shop equipment and supplies Complete service reports and FAA documentation (e.g., 8130-3s)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification and/or military/civil aircraft maintenance experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:

5/40 work schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
