Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineering Suppor tAnalyst 3 for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in a math- or science-based discipline (such as engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science)
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to analyze budget and schedule data, develop performance metrics, and effectively present findings to leadership.
• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary work assignment for the candidate selected for the role will be performed across the AEW&C platforms. The primary responsibilities for this position include managing multiple initiatives, tracking budgets, schedules, and assigned work, the creation and presentation of team performance metrics, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders alike. This position provides periodic updates to client management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents. The position interfaces with project teams, management, internal and external customers, and suppliers to support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will be experienced in researching, analyzing, compiling, and presenting technical data related to company products and system-level concepts within projected engineering environments. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
• Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze technical, budget, and schedule data from multiple sources to track performance against baseline plans and support decision-making and program objects
• Develop, maintain, and present performance metrics dashboards and reports to program leadership, clearly communicating status, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities impacting budget, schedule, and overall program health.
• Support program managers and engineering teams in maintaining program health and alignment with business objectives through data-driven insights.
• Prepare clear, concise presentations and briefings for leadership on program status, earned value metrics, and corrective action plans.
• Assist in continuous process improvement initiatives related to program tracking, reporting, and earned value management.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and integration of cost and schedule data into program controls.
• Apply systems thinking to understand program interdependencies and the impact of changes on cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Provide analytical support for problem-solving and decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Background in supporting aerospace or defense programs.
• Knowledge of aircraft avionics
• Experience applying earned value management (EVM) principles to track and analyze program performance.
• Familiar with systems engineering and product lifecycle management.
• Skilled in using Azure DevOps (ADO) for program tracking and management.
• Ability to train and mentor team members on program tracking tools, processes, and best practices.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
