Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Ladson, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Good written and verbal communication skills
Team player with strong organizational skills
Basic product knowledge and ability to follow standard work instructions
Experience using hand and power tools
Ability to identify and repair units that fail tests or tolerance levels
Willingness to support business needs including overtime

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform product assemblies accurately and efficiently
Use hand and power tools to assemble units per specifications
Identify and repair defective units
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Assist team members to ensure quality and workflow
Communicate issues professionally to leadership
Participate in change management and lean transformation activities
Ensure safety and quality in all tasks

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Overtime may be required on Fridays

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
