Chipton-Ross is seeking Cable Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High mechanical aptitude
Experience using hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wire
Ability to follow detailed processes and read/understand print instructions
Experience with IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards preferred
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble cable harnesses and perform soldering tasks
Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams
Ensure quality and accuracy of cable builds
Support production schedules and meet deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in cable and wire harness assembly
Familiarity with IPC standards and inspection criteria
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM ESTEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
