- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stock Assistant for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1–2 years of experience in receiving, stocking, and pulling material
Experience with stockroom procedures and inventory control
Ability to read and write English
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies
Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices
Store articles according to identifying factors and environmental guidelines
Fill orders and issue supplies from stock
Requisition stock to fulfill incoming orders
Prepare stock usage reports
Determine appropriate storage methods based on temperature, humidity, weight, turnover, and space requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
