Chipton-Ross is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Experience in ASIC & FPGA development for R&D programs Proficiency in digital signal processing (DSP), high-speed digital design, and system-on-chip (SoC) implementation on FPGA platforms Experience with embedded processors and COTS-based control platforms Strong scripting and automation skills to improve FPGA development workflows Experience with cross-discipline collaboration (Systems Architects, RF/Analog & Digital Circuit Designers, ASIC/FPGA Engineers) Ability to support and mentor junior engineers Experience with design, simulation, verification, integration, and testing of high-speed products

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, test, and integrate FPGA-based systems including DSP and high-speed communication Automate development processes and scripting for efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design leading-edge products Support junior engineers with technical guidance Contribute to the full lifecycle of FPGA development including simulation, verification, and integration

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 6–10 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 4–8 years of experience

WORK HOURS:

4/10 work schedule 1st Shift HYB


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
