Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Material Associates for a contract opportunity in Pinellas Park, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience in material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items over 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to use computer systems to maintain inventory and support production
Experience with MRP systems
Ability to read/write English
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform manual and clerical support functions related to fabrication and assembly work order release, kitting, expediting, and status updates
Support shipping and receiving, outside vendor processing, and shop floor expediting
Manage inventory control including kitting, cycle counting, and issuing/receiving inventory
Maintain and perform inventory transactions for all stockrooms including customer and government-furnished equipment
Use computer systems to maintain inventory and produce shipping/receiving documents
Update systems to support customer requirements
Communicate professionally with coworkers and support organizations
Set priorities and follow dispatch lists as directed
Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
5/40 work schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
