Chipton-Ross is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity in Hanover, MD.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1–2 years of experience in warehouse, material movement, or inventory control
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift and move items or cartons up to 50 lbs (team lifts may be required)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and inspect inbound materials to meet contract requirements
Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials
Log receipt of items in LM P2P system
Process freight bills, packing sheets, and bills of lading
Support inventory storage and general warehouse duties
May be trained and certified in forklift or other Powered Industrial Vehicle use
Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining safety and accuracy
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS:
5/40 work scheduleEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
