Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Embedded Software Engineers for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Active Secret Clearance required to start
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
Experience developing embedded real-time software
Proficiency in Ada programming language
Experience developing for Linux (CentOS) and Real-Time Operating Systems (VxWorks)
Experience with continuous integration and software factory environments
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, operate, and maintain embedded software and firmware components
Support integration with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing systems
Develop software for PAC-3 products using Ada and other languages
Participate in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, implementation, and formal qualification testing
Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and technical support personnel
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Proficiency in C++
Experience with GitLab, Docker, and software factory tools
Experience with VxWorks and Linux CentOS environments
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Monday–ThursdayEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
