Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or related Engineering/Science discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience with C++, Ada, and Python
Linux-based software development experience
Experience in object-oriented software development
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform full lifecycle testing of infrastructure software product capabilities
Participate in Agile product development and daily collaboration
Work closely with system/software architects and mentor junior engineers
Gain working knowledge of CI/CD infrastructure and tool suite
Support development, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded software
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Vectorcast, CppUnit, Gcov/Gcovr, Cmake
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
GitLab pipeline troubleshooting
Greenhills compiler for Ada
AUnit for Ada unit testing
Gnatmake
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Proficient in Agile development and software estimation
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
