Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple APG Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Minimum 6–8 years of related fighter aircraft experience with flightline exposure
Experience as a Crew Chief, Plane Captain, or similar military aircraft maintenance role
Experience with aircraft launch and recovery operations
Experience with aircraft systems including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling/defueling, and general airframe maintenance
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support incoming and outgoing flight operations
Perform follow-on maintenance and routine troubleshooting
Conduct launch, recovery, preflight/thru-flight/post-flight inspections
Perform ground handling, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing
Repair and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems
Remove panels and hardware to access equipment requiring repair
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
F-16 or related fighter aircraft flightline experience
Experience with military aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st or 2nd Shift (assigned after training)Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
