Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assemblers for a 2nd shift contract opportunity in Owego, NY.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Experience performing repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations Experience working with electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables Ability to read and interpret diagrams and drawings Experience using hand and/or power tools Ability to perform continuity checks and quality inspections Experience disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing assemblies Must be able to read and write English Must pass a medical and vision exam as outlined in the supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical components Conduct inspections and continuity checks Support prototype and experimental builds Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work area

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:

4/10 work schedule 2nd Shift Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM EST


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
