Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in St Charles, MO.
100% on site
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.
-10+ years of Engineering experience across multiple domains of engineering expertise
-3 years Systems Engineering
-Experience deploying program/product from design to fielding - 1st hand experience (doing) developing requirements, design criteria, verification and validation test cases / plans
-Systems Training - INCOSE SEP certification, graduate school systems degree/certificate
-Familiarity with Defense Acquisition University - System Engineering
-Experience with application of digital engineering concepts (MBSE) and open systems (WOSA, FACE, etc.)
Engineering Experience 3-5 years each in a multitude of relevant engineering disciplines in addition to systems engineering such as:
-Electrical / Mechanical design
-Software/Firmware design / testing
-Test Engineering - developing test sets, HIL/SIL experience
-Manufacturing / Process engineer
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
-Proposal development experience - technical CONOP and solution development for proposal technical team
-Basics of PMP or EVM concepts
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree.

Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 5:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
