Chipton-Ross is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for a contract opportunity in Hill AFB, UT.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
-Previous F-16 experience Required.
- Previous experience reviewing aviation drawings Required.
- Previous experience with Aircraft avionics or electrical required.
Applicant will be the Aircraft Maintenance architect responsible for data investigations/research within the Lockheed Martin F-16 Technical Order Repository. The data researched will be based on Electrical Data, so a familiarity of basic aircraft electronics will be required and a basic knowledge of software coding and programming. An advanced understanding of SQL/databases and C++/C# would be highly desirable for this position. Also, an understanding of the Agile Software development cycle would be a plus.
Qualified applicants must have the ability to read and interpret (F-16 Preferred) Fighter Aircraft Drawings. Will Provide engineering expertise to support the development and updates supporting an F-16 Air Force Support Equipment Modification Program called the MBFI. The Multiplex Bus Fault Isolator (MBFI) is support equipment which provides the capabilities to trouble shoot and detect faults within the multiplex busses of aircraft. A thorough knowledge of aircraft Multiplex bus communication and 1553/194 standards is a plus; Must work well in Integrated Product Team (IPT).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, coordinates, directs, and/or performs engineering assignments involving specifications for, and design changes or alterations to, aircraft, engines, systems, components, and field or shop equipment; investigates and analyzes project requirements and operating problems and develops recommended solutions to meet company governmental safety and performance standards including Minimum Equipment List (MEL); evaluates, selects, applies, and/or adapts engineering modifications; designs or recommends new or modified parts and components; analyzes reparability of parts and components; evaluates operating data on parts, components, and systems to establish causes and to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions, or premature removals; analyzes and evaluates aircraft and associated equipment proposals; prepares technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other required publications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
System programing or software development preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
9/80-1st Shift

ADDITIONAL:
A Final Secret Security Clearance is required on the first day.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
