Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Candidates need to be able to solder wires to terminals.
Experience in using a Microscope to assemble components.
Computer Operations.
General Assembly.
Mechanical Experience.
Mechanical and Electrical Systems experience.
Computer knowledge (email, accessing files and shrepoints.)
Mechanical Assembly experience.
Basic computer skills. Blueprint reading.
Mechanical Aptitude.
Soldering experience.
Wireharness Print reading.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Ability to solder wires and terminals. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
IPC 620 is a plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Monday-Thursday 05:00am-03:30pmEST

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
