Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Active secret clearance required to start.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 6+ years of C/C++ VxWorks/Linux embedded software development thru all phases of software lifecycle.
- 6+ years of experience with multi-core processor (LS1046A & Zynq System-on-Chip) SW development & integration.
- 6+ years of algorithm development experience; such as, target detection and tracking.
- 4+ years of experience with Bus/Protocols: MUX, Serial, I2C, 1553.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile Scrum processes including CI/CD pipelines, Dev-ops practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Doxygen, git lab, Bit-bucket, Para-soft.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for Embedded Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience to work on missile seeker software using C/C++ VxWorks/Linux thru all phases of software ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Working knowledge of Ada a plus.
- Working knowledge of Cameo beneficial.
- Experience in software subcontract management a plus.
- CMake/build system experience desired.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree.

WORK HOURS:
4/10-1st Shift.

ADDITIONAL:
Candiadte must have an active secret clearance.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
