Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Tool Engineers for a contract opportunity Arlington, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications
5+ years of experience with MS Office tools
5+ years of experience with Pro-E/Creo/Windchill or other CAD systems
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and GD&T
Ability to travel domestically
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as technical lead for tooling activities supporting THAAD production and development
Support design, procurement, internal manufacturing, proposal development, and maintenance
Coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
Lead tooling strategy and execution for program deliverables
Support supplier and production floor visits
Ensure compliance with LM processes and standards

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with LM tooling, manufacturing, and drawing release processes
Experience with LM MCAD, SAP, and property management systems
Knowledge of additive manufacturing, machining, welding, and castings
Demonstrated ability to improve cost, schedule, quality, and safety

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift HYB

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
