Chipton-Ross is seeking a System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered career or journey level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• 5+ years experience of basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills.
• Travel to White Sands Missile Range, NM to support flight tests. 10% travel, about once every 6 months.
• Knowledge or experience as a test asset manager, integration and testing
• Active secret clearance preferred, willing to consider candidates with a previously held active clearance. Interim secret clearance required to start position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include integration and test of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) based munitions with either the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS, M142) or the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS, M270A2) Launchers, and flight test range planning, coordination, and execution. The candidate is responsible for supporting the development of program deliverables, supporting program meetings and reporting, and supporting customer meetings and periodic program reviews.
The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to coordinate with personnel from different functional areas to prepare the needed resources for successful completion of testing.
• Support the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules supporting missile processing ground and flight tests.
• Support the missile asset manager in initial builds to integration, then ground and flight tests (safety shoes required)
• Support the preparation of technical interchange meetings, customer design reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Pre-Ship Reviews.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Be able to understand and match system requirements into test requirements
• Experience with Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM) and Launchers is a plus including the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS, M142) and Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS, M270A2) Launchers.
• Knowledge or experience as a missile asset manager, missile integration and testing
