Chipton-Ross is seeking a Materials Management Analyst for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience with inventory management or supply chain processes and techniques.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in coordinating on time delivery of simple parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures.
Assists with collection and analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
Assists in posting updates to information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
Assists in coordinating the flow of materials management related information between and among internal recipients.
Assists in interpretation of information to identify problems.
Works under close supervision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action.
Experience using GOLD and I-GOLD software applications.
Experience with NCM (Non-Conformance System).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited Bachelor's degree or HS diploma and experience equivalent.
TRAVEL
Travel may be required
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; must be available to work variable shifts based on business need, 1st, 2nd and 3rd (rotating shift). OT and weekend work may be required
