Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Technician 1 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1. Experience with electronic schematics and/or drawings
2. Experience with crimping, soldering, and using multimeter
3. Basic Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and work experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under close supervision. Day-to-day activities they will be working on:
- We support many different programs by building electronic test equipment
- Contractor is expected to: Interpret Engineering Drawings, Select Tools and Material, Fabricate per Drawing
Training and mentorship will be provided
-Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree (preferred) or a High School Diploma/GED (required).

WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
