Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Candidate must be able to read/write English. HM is looking for candidates with 1-2 years experience testing cables to include HIPOT testing. 1-2 years of building cable experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of duties in the cable build, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Sets up, troubleshoots, calibrates, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Tests and troubleshoots manufactured cables. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment, conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School Diploma or GED. WORK HOURS: 4/10-1st Shift Shift hours are Monday-Thursday 5 AM-3:30 PM EST with OT on the weekends.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
