Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Human Resources Assistant 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or experience. Being able to multitask in a high-volume environment, customer focus driven, detailed oriented.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, benefits, education/training, employment, compensation, and equal employment opportunity. Maintains both manual and automated personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepares reports. In accordance with procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies. Provides information to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

5/40 work week. Monday - Friday, First Shift 6:00AM-2:30 PM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
