Chipton-Ross is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst 2 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
  • 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • 1 + years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
  • 1+ years of experience with GOLD
  • Experience using all the following Microsoft Office -- Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including on call support as needed (including weekends and holidays)
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility across all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This is a motivated team that works together to solve complicated supply chain problems and enable successful production. You will contribute as a team member alongside subject matter experts in the field of supply chain, inventory management and expedite to deliver solutions that help The company deliver safe, better and more efficient airplanes and products. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
  • Production Schedule Alignment: Collaborate with production planning and operations teams to ensure material supply aligns with production schedules and delivery targets
  • Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks, including supplier capacity issues and material shortages; develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions
  • Cost Savings & Efficiency Initiatives: Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency projects through supplier negotiations, process optimization, and lean principles ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)/MRP(Material Requirements Planning)
  • System Utilization: Manage supply chain processes using ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) support system enhancements and data accuracy initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and resolve issues proactively Analyzes complex material requirements and verifies/incorporates bills of material into production plans
  • Ensures on time delivery
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Supply Chain Education or Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, lift loads of approximately 35 pounds and walk up and down in order to check point of use stations.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    WORK HOURS:

    FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Possible OT and weekends (would be minimal).

    ADDITIONAL:

    Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information. MISCELLANEOUS: This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted prior to a start date.


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
