Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to analyze electrical schematics and diagrams o Experience in cable manufacturing and/or electromechanical assembly o Ability to write assembly work instructions o Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher o Must be highly detailed-oriented due to the nature of electrical and electromechanical assemblies. o Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. o Excellent verbal/written communications skills o Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results o Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiativesPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Analyzing and interpreting electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages. o Updating and creating assembly work instructions for efficient assembly based on the drawings and/or models o Publishing work instructions to the production floor for use o Identifying and maintaining tool lists required for the efficient assembly of the given products. o Investigating technical problems and provides guidance in support of manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance o Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing failures and helps implement corrective action o Supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing process o Providing input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. o Working in close collaboration and guidance of Subject Matter Experts in the implementation of manufacturing functional improvements. o Adhering to existing functional process and procedures related to manufacturing engineering.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
o Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 1+ years of related work experience.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
