Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Planner (Level 4) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 8+years of Manufacturing Planner experience
  • 8+ years of experience of CAD Software
  • Ability to interpret and read 2D and 3D drawing and specs
  • Analyze & Interpret Engr Data
  • Manufacturing Engineering processes
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports. Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition. Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues. Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts. Supports enterprise level benchmarking to incorporate best practices. Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Develops scheduling templates for use by others. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards. Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous client Planner Experience
  • Gold ESP & MESCI experience
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The candidate must be able to go up and down stairs, work in small spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    WORK HOURS:

    FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; All submitted candidates should be available to work variable shifts based on business need, 1st and 2nd.

    PER CLIENT:

    ADDITIONAL:

    This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted prior to a start date.


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
