Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1-2 years experience testing cables to include HIPOT testing.
  • 1-2 years of building cable experience.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a variety of duties in the cable build, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Sets up, troubleshoots, calibrates, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Tests and troubleshoots manufactured cables.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 2nd Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
