Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 2+ years excel.
- 1-2 years hand tools.
- 2+ years inventory management.
- 1+ warehouse management.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. This position requires the use of Microsoft Office and various computer databases. This position requires management of over 1000 various tools with varying contents and inventories. Customer services background would be helpful. Good organizational skills. Experience with Stock Control, Inventory Management Practices and Procedures. Experience with Power and Hand Tools. Demonstrated computer literacy. Material handling Experience. Previous inventory or warehouse experience. Maintain proper stock controls by performing manual and clerical tasks involved in receiving, preparation and stocking, issuing, physical inventory, disposition, control and protection of company and government property.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time-2nd Shift 04:30pm-03:00am Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
