Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Ladson, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred. Willingness to support business needs including overtime. Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities. Product knowledge. Organizational skills. Team player. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift 30lbs.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned product assemblies following standard work instructions. Use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. Complete work in prescribed time period, moving completed component or assembly to designated area. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Assist team members to ensure a quality product and smooth workflow. Professionally and effectively communicate issues to leadership. Willingness and ability to support business needs including overtime. Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities. Responsible for assuring safety and quality in all actions. The role, including all day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services. Additional duties as assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or EquivalentWORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST Overtime may be required on FridaysEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
