Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Microelectronics Wire Bonders for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Interim Secret required to start
  • Familiarity with bonding microelectronic components, including manual gold ball and ribbon bonding
  • Experience with manual and automatic bonding equipment
  • Basic computer skills for timekeeping and digital work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment
  • Ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fabricate microelectronic components and sub-assemblies using manual and automatic bonding machines
  • Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality standards
  • Read and interpret assembly process and work instructions
  • Work with microscopic to large components requiring visual magnification
  • Use hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers)
  • Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes
  • Collaborate with team members to support throughput and continuous improvement
    • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment
    • Leadership, mentoring, or training aptitude

    WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
