Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Microelectronics Wire Bonders for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Interim Secret required to start
- Familiarity with bonding microelectronic components, including manual gold ball and ribbon bonding
- Experience with manual and automatic bonding equipment
- Basic computer skills for timekeeping and digital work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment
- Ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fabricate microelectronic components and sub-assemblies using manual and automatic bonding machines
- Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality standards
- Read and interpret assembly process and work instructions
- Work with microscopic to large components requiring visual magnification
- Use hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers)
- Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes
- Collaborate with team members to support throughput and continuous improvement
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610
- Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
