Chipton-Ross is seeking a Procurement Agent 4 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX, Tukwila WA or OKC.
- Onsite in one of the following locations - San Antonio TX, Tukwila WA or OKC
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
- Must have cradle to grave procurement US government contracting experience.
- Must have direct FAR/DFAR procurement experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our Executive Transport team in onsite in one of the following locations: San Antonio TX, Tukwila WA or OKC. Come join BDS Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers division, and the unique opportunity to work on the next generation's Executive Transport Aircraft. At Client, our Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Client Company. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of supply chain experts making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft.- Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.- Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.- Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
- Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Accredited Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
- 5+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.
- 5+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
- 5+ years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
- 5+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
- 5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
- 5+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 5:00 AM - 2:30 PMADDITIONAL:
Potential travel required (up to 5%). The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by client. OT/weekend work: Possible but not required. Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
