Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Worker for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
This position is 100% onsite.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3-5 years experience in facilities maintenance.
- 3-5 years of experience in at least 3 of the following areas plumbing, electrical, tile/carpet installation, carpentry skills, tool familiarity, heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
Preferable to have fork lift experience as well.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Client facility which will include, but not limited to, maintenance, dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs to industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.
- Assembles and installs equipment using hand and power tools; aligns machines; performs routine inspection and maintenance and may replace worn or broken parts and reassemble.
- Assists in the overhaul and repair of complex mechanical equipment as needed.
- Role also supports carpentry work and basic facilities maintenance tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Welding, advanced electrical certifications, advanced carpentry skills.

- Accredited HSD/GED

- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
