Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a remote contract opportunity.



MUST LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES of LAKELAND, FL

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Proven ability to work within a fast pace high volume payroll team
  • Proven ability to react quickly and timely to payroll inquires
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Quick to adapt to systems and computers
  • Proficient in excel
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and processing of U.S. payroll transactions. Maintain payroll data and respond to tier two level payroll inquires
  • Support in-house payroll processing including but not limited to final pay processing, calculate retro payments, tax balance adjustments, prepare W2c's, over payments, balance benefits, set up deductions and arrears.
  • Maintain backup support for audit and tracking purposes.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
