Chipton-Ross is seeking 1 Trainer for a contract opportunity in Red Oak, TX.
Principal Accountabilities:
" Brainstorms with and builds partnerships with organizations to understand their short- and long-term business and manufacturing learning objectives in becoming a World Class Training organization. " Collaborates with external High Schools, Technical Colleges, Workforce Development, and State/Federal Government Entities to develop, implement, and maintain an integrated skilled trades apprenticeship system and college internship program. " Partners with Information Technology to select, implement, and maintain the Learning Management System. " Coordinates the learning and development strategies (both technical and business compliance) and resources (classroom, computer-based, offsite seminars, etc.) to sustain the achievement of those objectives and needs. " Partner with Technical Operations, Quality & SMEs to understand training requirements and the proper method to deliver the training. " Partner with all business functions to plan, implement, and manage learning programs that encompass a full career perspective (i.e., on-boarding, initial skills, intermediate/advanced training, OJT, and cross-training) for the full workforce (both hourly and salary). " Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others, facilitate processes, and coach/advise employees. " Ensure that the curriculum consistently reflects state of the art practice, is packaged in an effective manner, and apply learnings on-the-job and is connected to the broader department goals and company initiatives. " Analyze curriculum effectiveness and initiates, updates, and manages continuous improvement to curriculum, training practices, and delivery media. " Teaches and coaches employees. " Streamline processes and influence team behaviors that support effective and efficient decisions on learning solutions. " Identifies, tracks, and reports appropriate metrics on quality and effectiveness of learning solutions. " Assist in establishing training schedules. " Boost training guides for a variety of manufacturing processes.
Experience and Education Requisites:
" Bachelor's degree in education, organizational management or development preferred or equivalent experience. " 5+ years facilitating experiential learning activities across a diverse audience within the aviation/aerospace industry. " Extensive experience in planning, implementing, and managing learning programs " Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others, facilitate processes, and coach/advise people leaders. " Strategic thinker with strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
Work Schedule 1st Shift, 5/40 Schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
