Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Camden, NJ.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Responsible for developing schedule and daily execution and reporting status to Operations and
  • Program Leaderhip
  • Work with Technical Leads to Design for
  • Manufacturing. Process feedback from
  • Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams to Program team.
  • Attend Customer meetings and reviews as necessary, and act as Operations Lead during Design Reviews.
  • Facilitate Operations, Manufacturing and Quality participation in design development to identify and address manufacturability, testability and inspectability issues
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Supply Chain, and other functional organizations across the program
  • Lead the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies
  • Visit other manufacturing sites to review best practices.
  • Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices
  • Experience with manufacturing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will act as the Primary Operations leader for the project to oversee a design project from prototype to full-scale high-speed manufacturing within the Camden site.
  • They will work with Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and Sector Resources to align manufacturing capabilities with the program need.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced degree in management
  • Experience in the following fields of Operational Excellence:
  • Understanding of lean principals around pull systems, mix/max controls, etc.
  • One Piece Flow or Pull System manufacturing flow
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • 5S+1 Visual Factory
  • Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
  • Gemba implementation
  • Demonstrated MRP/MES System adherence
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015; AS9100D and QMS adherence
  • Aerospace & Defense electronics experience, high speed factory experience a plus
  • Working knowledge and experience in Earned Value Management and/or comprehensive estimate-at-complete (EAC) establishment and analysis
  • Working knowledge and experience in manufacturing labor standards (hours-per-unit) establishment and analysis
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • An effective communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

    WORK HOURS:

    Full-Time 9/80 work schedule 1st Shift 6:30AM-7AM Start time


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
