Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electromechanical Technician 3's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- High school degree or equivalent and 7 years' related experience.
- Basic knowledge of hand-tool use and safety.
- Mechanical and electrical precision assembly.
- Understanding drawings, work orders, and test procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for an Electromechanical Technician 3 to support the Subassembly Manufacturing Assembly Resource and Test Lab (SMART Lab) assembling and testing propulsion systems. Responsibilities:
- Working lab priority work orders as determined by leadership.
- Mechanically and electrically assemble and test propulsion thrusters.
- Mechanically and electrically assemble propulsion subsystems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Orbital welding.
- Hand TIG welding.
- Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test.
- Electrical functional set up and test.
- Sheet metal fabrication.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED required. School must be accredited.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. 1st Shift. On-site.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
