Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Level 2) for a hybrid/contract opportunity in Ridley Park, PA.



Hybrid , onsite 3 days a week

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Mechanical Design, CATIA, System Safety Analysis, Requirements Development, DOORS o Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers. Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations. Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems. Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems. Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts. Works under general supervision. Day-to-day Duties may include (but are not limited to):
o Develops mechanical systems component detail and assembly designs. Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical system parts and assemblies. Participate in technical review of supplier designs and non-conformances. Analyzes results and support design reviews.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification).

WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM HYB


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
