Chipton-Ross is seeking a/an/multiple for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have an active secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • At least 3 years of experience with fabrication environments including cable and harness, SMT board fabrication, or maintenance of military design product.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Certification in solder and harness capability to MIL STD requirements.
    • At least 3 years of experience with fabricating electrical •equipment designed from a blueprint, schematic, and engineering guides.
  • At least 3 years of experience with software tools and Microsoft products
  • Experience communicating issues (both verbal and written) with the design and/or the process requirements to management and or engineers.
  • Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test Engineering department designs and fabricates equipment that will be used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware.
  • We are seeking early career individuals who will be fabricating electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies (and sub-assemblies) to Engineering drawings.
  • Daily activity would include not only a fast-paced fabrication environment, but it would also include using several computer-based programs that will update job status, Quality Inspections, and Engineering changes.

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721
  • Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials
  • Experience interpreting and building

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED

    • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
