Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst for a contract opportunity in Deerfield, IL.
This position can be worked remotely.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5–7 years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR function
- Global compensation experience preferred
- Advanced Excel and HRIS proficiency; experience with tools like Workday, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong understanding of compensation theory, practices, and legal compliance
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Able to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze market data to determine competitive compensation rates and practices
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, using survey data and analytics tools
- Design and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive plans
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to advise on pay decisions and compensation strategy
- Participate in compensation surveys and interpret results to inform pay practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
- Support compensation-related projects such as M&A, reorganizations, or system implementations
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data modeling and analysis
- Run reports and audit data to support our annual compensation review cycle
- Advise HR and business leaders on compensation-related decisions and policies
- Support annual compensation review cycles, merit increases, and bonus programs
- Collaborate with HRIS teams to ensure accurate compensation data in systems
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on compensation trends and insights
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 1st Shift RMTEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
