Chipton-Ross is seeking a Microelectronics Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o High School diploma. o Computer-literate. o Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Looking for a Microelectronics Technician 2 to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department, you'll work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers. Responsibilities:
o Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review. o Start up systems being used for the day. Perform daily calibrations. Run tools for the day's task. Learn/practice on any new tools that were recently acquired.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o Semiconductor Wafer handling. o Cleanroom experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

o Able to lift 30-40 pounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

o High School Diploma/GED is required. o School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

9/80 workweek. 2nd shift. 2 PM - 11:30 PM. This position will serve on-site at the Space Park campus, on the Manhattan Beach, CA side.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
