Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must be willing and able to work first or second shift.
- Harness Build up experience
- Solder/crimping experience
- Wiring repair
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and repair electrical harnesses for avionics systems, including reading and interpreting schematics and diagrams
- Utilize wire marking machines to label and identify wires and cables
- Operate harness braiding machines to protect and organize wires and cables
- Work with wafer connections, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Modify and construct Gigabit Ethernet Switch (GES) systems, including troubleshooting and repair
Perform ethernet wiring modifications and constructions, including testing and troubleshooting- Assemble, troubleshoot, and modify circuit breaker panels and matrix assemblies
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues
- Apply knowledge of avionics systems and components to troubleshoot and repair complex problems
Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when working with electrical systems and components
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
