Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3 + years working experience in DOORS
  • 3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo
  • Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
  • Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
  • Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
  • Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with C++, MATLAB, Python is a plus
  • Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts
  • Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly IAMD Missile Systems
  • Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathmatics) degrees considered.

  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
