Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3 + years working experience in DOORS
- 3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo
- Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
- Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
- Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
- Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with C++, MATLAB, Python is a plus
- Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts
- Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly IAMD Missile Systems
- Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathmatics) degrees considered.

- 1st Shift HYB
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
