Chipton-Ross is seeking a C2BMC Systems Software Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.

o Regular and predictable attendance is required. o Ability to be cleared at TS/SCI. Top Secret is required to start. o Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills. o Familiarity with the Agile software development process. o Experience with Java, or Java Spring.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking motivated and talented C2BMC Systems Software Engineer to join the team in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
The Client Missile Defense Programs support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight. Be a part of our passionate and highly-motivated team who are excited to be on the forefront of defense of our nation.
o Work with other industry partners as a key contributor to the design and development of Java-based mathematical algorithms in support of the C2BMC. o Support full software development lifecycle including generating design artifacts, implementing software changes, supporting design and code reviews, software testing, and resolution of issues found during testing. o Actively participate in agile planning and execution using established processes. o Software Requirements and architecture development in support of MDS systems. o Develop, select, tailor and deploy integration and test processes, tools and metrics. o Execute and document integration and test activities and events.
This position may require the ability to obtain access to an MDA facility. Access to the facility requires a background investigation by U.S. government authorities. This position requires candidate acceptance by the industry partner resource control board. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science. 9+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Master's or 4+ years of work-related engineering experience with a PhD.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMADDITIONAL:
Domestic Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Possible OT.Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
