Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 9+ years of experience in Systems Engineering and/or Software Development. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Great communications and writing skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment. Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.- Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Day to day activities would include generation of component level FMECA analyses or predictions and the associated research/discussions necessary.
- Describe the required skill set/experience for the resources: FMECA, Reliability, Maintainability, System Health Predictions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience using the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a product System Engineering requirements and verifications experience. Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships. 5+ years of Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health experience. 5+ years of working experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Reliability & Maintainability Predictions, and/or Reliability Testing activities. Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines. 5+ years of experience with Reliability and Maintainability engineering principles. 3+ years software development experience. Systems modeling experience including the use of Model Based Systems Engineering software.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (e.g. Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS ON CALL/FIRST SHIFT; 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
