Chipton-Ross is seeking an Employee Development Specialist 3 for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.
100% onsiteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Regular and predictable attendance is required. o 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support. o Experience in coaching, instructing or as an employee development specialist. o Experience designing and employing leadership development courseware and/or curriculum. o Experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines project scope and recommends deliverables, budget and resources. Oversees curriculum development, review of course content and instructional materials, testing and system access requirements. Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods. Performs as a lead instructor in a specialized content area. Deploys development tools and monitors implementation. Identifies potential issues that impact performance and leads the performance analysis and development of improvement recommendations.
o Conduct learning requirements analysis and establish learning objectives. o Deliver content and assess effectiveness based on learning objectives. o Conduct coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance. o Perform as an instructor in a specialized content area from one or more of the following areas of Aerospace Skills expertise: Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, etc. o Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching and team coaching, observing and tracking student performance, adding key insights to enhance the delivery, conduct preparation, delivery and rostering of training to satisfy training requirement. o Conduct training utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques, and customizes learning programs, courses, presentations and guides. o Emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training provided. o Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, and address any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policies. o Perform individual and group assessments, and recommend process and performance improvements. o Conduct Train-the-Trainer Sessions to qualify additional instructors. o Understand regulations and standards, ensure delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specifications.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean Certification(s). o Experience with Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, Systems, etc. o Experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, electrical, or other systems. o Experience in the following areas: Electrician/Structure/Wing/Spar Assembly, Needs Assessment and Job Analysis.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/Second Shift 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMADDITIONAL:
Possible OT opportunities.Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
