Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Wire Harness Reading
- Blueprint Reading
- AutoCAD
- Circuit Cards
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.
- Cable harness experience and process writing are a plus.
- Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements.
- Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement.
- Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.

- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
