Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Services Project Management 2 for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience with a background in project management preferably in manufacturing. o Project management experience, excel proficiency, Multitasking. o Communication skills, presentations, running effective meetings.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for someone to oversee projects related to Engineering of Aerospace Assembly Tooling from initiation through completion applying Earned Value Management (EVM) to track cost and schedule performance while ensuring projects remain within scope and budget. Responsibilities will mainly include monitoring financials such as indirect budgets, conducting detailed reports that highlight progress, risk, and variances. Strong proficiency in Excel is essential for building dashboards, maintaining metrics, and supporting data driven decision making. This role requires the ability to distill complex information into clear presentations and communicate findings effectively to leadership, driving alignment and accountability across teams. They will serve as a key partner in ensuring program success through planning reporting and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: Project management of cross functional statements of work, developing reports and analyzing spreadsheets.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o University Degree preferably in a technical field such as engineering. o Earned Value Management experience, technical background within an aerospace company, Visual Basic knowledge.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accreditedWORK HOURS:
9/80 workweek. On-site.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
