Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have the ability to obtain a Government Secret Clearance
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Must have previous experience with System Ops checks, Avionics testing, Routing/Terminating, continuity checks
- AVI experience on F-16s or fighter/attack aircraft preferred but not required. looking for candidates with solid avionic electrical experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As the Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician you will be responsible for installing electrical harnesses and performing operational checks, post modification testing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems on aircraft. System and Sub system testing/operational checks.
- May do some APG work in conjunction with Avionics terminating, and wire repair.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Active Secret Clearance
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- Mon- Thur 1st shift (6a-4:30P), Mon- Thur 2nd Shift (4:30p-3A), and Weekend Thurs-Sun (6:00am-4:30p)
ADDITIONAL:
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
