Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stock Clerk II for a contract opportunity in College Park, GA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Basic computer or scanner skills required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in operating a forklift.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver raw materials, tools, and components to workstations in a timely manner.
  • Remove finished goods, waste, and empty containers from work areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels at workstations and replenish before they run out.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate material flow.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
  • Identify and communicate shortages or process issues to the supervisor.
  • Record material movements using tracking systems (manual or digital).
  • Assist with basic line setups or changeovers as needed.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or lean environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles a plus.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift moderate weight (e.g., 25-50 lbs regularly).
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday 07:00am-03:30pm


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
